Eligible First-Term Hosting
A customer may request a refund of an eligible first-term HostAvvy shared hosting or managed WordPress hosting fee within 30 calendar days after that service is first activated. The window applies once per eligible service, does not restart after an upgrade or plan change, and does not apply to professional services or supplier-backed purchases.
Excluded Items
Domain registrations, transfers, renewals, redemption or registry charges, hosting renewals, licenses, advertising spend, model or API usage, telephony, messaging, setup work, migration labor, professional services, custom work, completed milestones, and other third-party costs are non-refundable once committed or delivered unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Renewals
Hosting and domain renewals are non-refundable once processed unless required by law. If you no longer need a service, submit cancellation from the client area before the next renewal date.
Promotions
Promotional credits, coupons, free months, bundled services, or discounted terms may have special refund handling. If a refund is approved, any free or bundled service may be removed or billed at the standard rate.
Request Process
Open a billing ticket within the applicable window with the affected service, invoice number, and request reason. HostAvvy may confirm account ownership and service eligibility before approval. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when practical. Cancelling hosting may permanently remove its website, database, mailbox, and account data, so export anything needed first.
Abuse and Chargebacks
Accounts suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, policy violations, chargebacks, or attempts to misuse the refund policy are not eligible. A chargeback may result in immediate suspension while the payment dispute is reviewed.
